State Farm Super Bowl Ad!
The Super Bowl was no different than in years past with the inclusion of inappropriate commercials and halftime presentation – all airing while families across the U.S. watched. Both are reasons why some choose not to watch. Though fewer inappropriate ads are now included, it was a toss-up on which ad was the most offensive this year.
One commercial that stood out was the State Farm ad “Stop Livin’ on a Prayer.” The advertisement starred actors Danny McBride, Keegan-Michael Key, and actress Hailee Steinfeld along with the scantily clad girl-group KATSEYE dancing provocatively. Jon Bon Jovi and “Jake from State Farm” were also featured encouraging viewers to stop livin’ on a prayer.
State Farm needs to know vulgar and offensive advertising is never appropriate!
Thankfully, 1MM has seen a positive change in Super Bowl advertising over the past several years. Even though we still see room for improvement, 1MM believes our voices are being heard.
Your efforts have helped make a difference for families across the country!
