Have a Blessed Mother’s Day!

Have a Blessed Mother’s Day!

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6, KJV).

This Sunday is Mother's Day, and I would like to wish everyone a Happy Mother's Day! It takes a special person to be a mother. Bless you all for being strong, loving, and selfless women. Thank you for teaching your children biblical morals and godly values.

Being a mother is the most wonderful "job" imaginable. There is nothing like it! Our lives were changed forever (in a good way, of course) the moment we brought our precious little one home from the hospital. Whether you have a newborn, preschooler, or teenager, there are both good days and bad days of being a mother. But each day helps us grow and become a better mom. This is part of God's awesome plan!

While motherhood is certainly a noble calling and blessing from God, it is not always easy. But what an important role we have as mothers. Our children need love, discipline, and someone to teach them how to follow Jesus Christ. Our main goal as a mother is to see that our children accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We teach them this through word and deed and by example.

Pray daily for your children’s safety and protection. There will be challenging days, but you can do it with God’s help. There is great joy in being a mom, and remember your mom during this special time as well.

As exhausting as some days are, I love the role God has chosen for me as a mother, and I hope you do too. I would like to share a blog written by Lauren Bragg, staff writer for American Family Association’s The Stand. Titled “I See You, Mama,” Lauren tells her personal story of her new journey into motherhood. Click here or on the link above to read her encouraging words!

Thank you for being a part of OneMillionMoms.com and taking a stand for your children.

“For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him” (I Samuel 1:27, KJV).

A Mother’s Blanket of Prayer

When you were young

And it was cold outside

With a blanket

I covered you with care.

Now that you are older

And the world is much colder,

I now cover you with

A blanket of prayer.
