Conservative Parents Should Not Trust PBS KIDS!
WARNING - ALL PARENTS! Featuring a same-sex wedding between two males on the children's animated series Arthur wasn't enough for those who are pro-LGBTQ at PBS KIDS.
Two child agents on The Odd Squad assist two French women in a wedding ceremony under the Eiffel Tower in the episode “Monumental Oddness.” After the women declare their love for each other, one child agent steps in as an officiant and declares the women “married.”
This is not the first time this episode has aired, but it was brought to our attention since PBS KIDS recently aired it again.
If a same-sex wedding and a same-sex relationship in children’s programming weren’t enough, PBS has featured Billy Porter, a drag-queen activist, wearing a gender-bender tuxedo gown in one of its episodes of Sesame Street. One Million Moms has spoken out against this programming and will continue to do so.
Discussion of such controversial topics and lifestyle choices should be left up to parents. PBS KIDS should not introduce the LGBTQ lifestyle to young children and should stick to entertaining and providing family-friendly programming, instead of pushing an agenda.
According to the PBS Foundation:
Each month, more than 36 million people watch their local PBS stations, more than 16 million viewers watch videos on a PBS site and/or app, and over 53 million fans enjoy PBS Digital Studios and other content on YouTube.
Over the course of a year, 58% of all U.S. television households – more than 130 million people – watch PBS via traditional television.
PBS KIDS averages 15.5 million monthly users and 345 million monthly streams across digital platforms.
PBS Kids programming typically targets children between the ages of 2 and 8. PBS stations reach more children, and more parents of young children, than any of the children’s TV networks.
Families have already discovered that PBS KIDS, largely supported by federal funds, is anything but family friendly. However, 1MM is warning anyone who continues to watch the channel.
Please take action and help get the word out about this ridiculous use of taxpayers’ dollars to indoctrinate children into the LGBTQ lifestyle.
