Urge Universal to stop despicable “humans hunting humans” movie
After 1MM supporters and other concerned American citizens stood up for decency, Universal Pictures decided to cancel the September 27 release of the film titled The Hunt. The trailer for the film was recently removed from YouTube, as well. All the glory goes to God! Public outcry resulted in the cancellation of this despicable movie that depicts wealthy vacationers hunting “deplorables” for sport. Your voice was heard loud and clear again! Way to go! Keep up the great work!
In a statement released to Fox News, a Universal Pictures spokesperson said: “While Universal Pictures had already paused the marketing campaign for The Hunt, after thoughtful consideration, the studio has decided to cancel our plans to release the film.”
There are no official plans for the future of The Hunt. It could still be released at a later date or move to a streaming service. Therefore, 1MM will continue to urge that the film is never released.
Universal Studios is taking murder lightly and making it a game as it gets ready to release “The Hunt” in theaters on September 27.
The movie is a graphic and extremely violent “humans hunting humans for sport” theme in which elite liberals jet to a resort where a dozen MAGA types have been previously kidnapped and wake up in a clearing to realize they are being hunted like wild animals. You can watch the movie trailer here, but be warned, it is extremely graphic.
According to The Hollywood Reporter (THR), characters in the film refer to the victims as “deplorables,” which is what Hillary Clinton famously dubbed Trump supporters during the 2016 election. THR noted that a character asks, "Did anyone see what our ratf--ker-in-chief just did?" "At least the hunt's coming up. Nothing better than going out to the Manor and slaughtering a dozen deplorables," a character responds.
Originally, the movie was titled, “Red State vs. Blue State.”
In days following the mass murders in Texas and Ohio, Universal halted promotion of the film. Obviously, it recognizes how deeply disturbing and dangerous it is to promote humans slaughtering other humans. This concept of Americans hunting and killing other Americans is not something our country wants to see right now or ever. It would be completely insensitive of Universal Studios to release this movie.
Political satirist Tim Young told FoxNews “The Hunt” goes over the line. “Why would anyone think it's a great idea to have a movie about hunting down someone who doesn't agree with them politically? It's remarkable to me that the left blames Donald Trump's rhetoric for violence, then literally spends millions to normalize the killing of people based on politics,” Young said.
“We're told over and over again by the left, especially in Hollywood, that this country is more divided than ever and we need to come together... is this what they mean by it? Come together to murder your neighbors that you don't agree with? This film is sick and shows just how hateful the left has become,” he added.
Help convince Universal Studios to drop all plans to release this irresponsible film “The Hunt” that glamorizes the killing of Trump supporters immediately.
