Truth Initiative anti-smoking commercials are always graphic and over the top. Their latest has crossed the line! It displays a man singing to the tune of 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star' but instead it’s 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Little DICK!' The commercial is being aired on Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network at times when children are likely watching. The ad goes into details associated with erectile dysfunction for our children to see. It’s highly offensive and inappropriate. Children as young as 3 are singing a seemingly harmless nursery rhyme that has now been perverted and twisted. Is nothing sacred anymore? We demand this commercial be taken down for our children’s innocence and wellbeing! If you are as passionate about removing this offensive commercial as I am, please SHARE with your family and friends.

As a parent and a member of OneMillionMoms.com, I am highly offended by your company's disrespect of millions of American families by airing a commercial about erectile dysfunction in the tune of a nursery rhyme. The 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Little DICK!’ ad is a poor decision to offend so many parents you claim you’re attempting to help by encouraging them to live a tobacco-free life.

This ad is inappropriate for television especially to be airing, when children are likely watching television. To make matters worse, this advertisement has aired on children’s networks such as Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network. These networks’ target audience is children, and with your nursery rhyme jingle and animation this is obviously who you are marketing to as well.

The ad goes into details associated with erectile dysfunction for our children to see. Airing this commercial during family-friendly shows, especially on children’s networks, pushes the envelope and crosses a line that Truth Initiative should have never crossed.

In attempting to be politically correct or aiming for shock value, you are offending a huge majority of your supporters. I implore you to consider how your commercial damages young viewers by introducing topics far too adult for them to comprehend. I urge you to cancel this advertisement immediately!
