I am appalled that your company is sponsoring a show that displays casual sex as normal and acceptable behavior and showcases vulgar and vile behavior in a positive light. TV Land’s “Younger” is attempting to desensitize our society.
Recently, the program has glamorized public nudity, graphic bedroom scenes, and excessive alcohol consumption.
While your company is a household name, I do not agree with your financial backing of this program. This show is extremely offensive and sexually charged.
As a consumer, I am asking Cetaphil to please pull ads immediately and to support family friendly programming instead. My decision to support your company depends on it.
I look forward to hearing from you regarding my concern.
TV Land continues to air the vile program "Younger" on Tuesday evenings at 10:00 p.m. ET/9:00 p.m. CT, but the previews air much earlier in the evening when children are likely watching TV. The vulgar advertisements for "Younger" are airing during shows such as the "Andy Griffith Show" and other family-friendly programs. The previews alone are disgusting. If the promos are this bad, then obviously the show is not suitable for TV.
It is almost impossible to describe the depth of depravity found in the TV Land sitcom "Younger." Every scene is filled with sexual innuendos, implications, or encounters. It is impossible to list all the examples of inappropriate content from this TV-14 rated show.
Please use the information we have provided to contact Cetaphil and ask that they pull their financial support from “Younger.”
